The Friends of Sandisfield Fire Department Corp is committed to fostering community support by raising funds to address the needs of the Sandisfield Fire Department. Our focus is on enhancing equipment, training, and making capital improvements for the fire department.
Patricia Hubbard moved to Sandisfield in 2007. Since relocating to this vibrant community in the Berkshires, she has worked as an Events Planner primarily for not-for-profit organizations, including a role as an Events Coordinator at the Norman Rockwell Museum. Patricia is actively involved in community support and serves on the board of Volunteers in Medicine Berkshires (VIM), where she has been instrumental in organizing many of their fundraising events and co-chairs their Development Committee. Before her move to Sandisfield, Patricia had a successful career in new product development for various Fortune 500 companies.
Liana Toscanini moved to Sandisfield in 1996 and has been an integral part of the community support efforts, actively contributing to the restoration of the Sandisfield Arts Center, the Sandisfield Historical Society, The Sandisfield Newsletter, the Sandisfield Times, and the Sandisfield Cultural Council. She also played a significant role in the Sandisfield 250th Anniversary and the Friends of Yanner Park. Additionally, she has served on various nonprofit boards, including the Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce and the MA Nonprofit Network. In 2016, she founded the Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires, further enhancing community support initiatives, including those for the local fire department.
Jeff Bye is a Wisconsin native who was raised in Texas and is a retired NASA electrical engineer. Throughout his 35-year career at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, he held multiple technical management and leadership roles. In 2015, he and his wife Melissa moved to Sandisfield, where he applied his expertise to chair the Broadband Committee and support the local community. Additionally, he served on the Planning Board, the Board of Assessors, and the Green Committee, all while actively engaging with the fire department to enhance community support.
